I started singing and dancing in kindergarten and have always loved performing. I began with ballet, then got into jazz and lyrical jazz in middle school and finally fell in love with tap in college. But, I mainly focused on singing and musical theatre throughout middle school and high school, and always stayed involved with school sports. So, pretty much I just loved staying active, and was torn between whether or not I wanted to completely immerse myself into the insane world of theatre arts, or keep a semi-balanced life and go to school for psychology, and run cross country on a scholarship. Obviously, I chose the arts. By senior year I quit all sports and focused on singing, and was part of four different vocal groups, and was continuing to perform in the summer with the All-Cape Theatrical Company. I again had to come to the decision of whether or not I wanted to go to a Liberal Arts school with a mixed group of people with different majors and backgrounds or if I wanted to go to a Conservatory and focus strictly on the arts therefore, surrounding myself with just performers. I chose to go to a Liberal Arts school because I wanted to be able to get a BA instead of a BFA, and to have the opportunity to fill my education with a variety of subjects,, and people. I spent four wonderful years at DeSales University where I made so many amazing friends, fell in love with Shakespeare, learned so much more about acting, and became who I am today. When I am not at the studio, I am usually trying to stay busy with theatre, friends, and family.
